Last driven by two (2) 700 HP D/C motors; Liquid cooling system with heat exchanger for gearbox protection; Trendelkamp screen changer w/ stand mounted on the extruder discharge. Rare opportunity to purchase an extruder of this size. Per Davis Standard the thrust bearing rating is actually 1,468,000 pounds or 665,874 kgs. Unit was miss tagged at the factory. Serial# AA454. Davis Standard 6.53:1 gearbox rated for 50 HP with a service factor of 1.25 for a 152 RPM screw speed. Gearbox was manufactured in 1998. Non-tagged motor is driven by a Reliance model GV3000 A/C drive. Includes unitized temperature control panel and 4-hole strand die on barrel. Year 1984.
