The engine behind them is 181 (now Engine 1) and they are on the apron of the old fire station at the old city hall (that used to be across from the Current Station 1).

This is the Oldest Pay Roster that we have found. It is from September 1949. Firefighters were paid $1.00 per fire call back then (compared to our $10.00 now). Names on this list: R. B. Viles, Howard Higgonbottom, Bill Rodcliff, Wilbur Harlstan, Chas Hanry, John Shipley, Harry Richards, J. M. Kelsey, Bud Rynolds, Jim Ryan, Lee Juny.
